I’ve smelled the EDT at Dillards, it’s good, don’t get me wrong. It has a bit of freshness with that sweet caramel note. But I will say, the new Le Parfum is the most Masculine smelling and does have a better sillage. (I have 4 samples of it). The EDP (which I currently own) is nice, it’s dark and mysterious, but I do prefer the Le Parfum. I feel like it suits my personality a bit more.

I had ocean edt twice, but always sold it for bad performance. I just purchased the EDP and Le Parfum and I really enjoy both. I love the suede note that wraps around you almost oceanic in a deep blue sparkling musky way. The le parfum I really enjoy the bright lemon against the oak. Has almost a rum touch to it

i bought the Prada black back in December and inside they had the little tube but it was a different cologne and i liked it more than the actual black fragrance. So today i took the tube to the guy so he could tell me which one it was and he sold the blue one that said toilette, but i thought they were the same since they had the same name. Turns out that it was the second bottle in this video the eau de parfum. But i guess it was my mistake for not smelling it before buying it. Anyways i'll keep this one since it smells good after an hour of having it on and tmrw i'll go again and get the one i wanted from the start

I recently smelled the le parfum & really liked it. Definitely on my radar now. The others smell nice but aren't really what I'm looking for in a fragrance at the moment. Great video btw

I haven’t tried EDP (because I actually wasn’t aware of it coming out!) but I own the other two and like Le Parfum better but recently I have warmed to EDT as well.

I have the wonderful ocean edt.I can only describe it as powdery sherbet falling onto water.Must get the others.

Have to wait for the Parfum to hit discounters. 175 retail for 100ml of that is pretty darn ridiculous considering the countless better fragrances you can get at that price.

Ive smelled the Le Parfum. I own the EDT & EDP. I like the EDT the best. It smells oceanic, fresh, clean and soapy. The EDP is stronger but it’s a just a blue shower gel fragrance with alot of vanilla. The Le Parfum is just Amber. There are tons of fragrances that do that better.

The EDP was my signature scent I get a soft suede note it makes me think of the color silver idk why but that’s what fragrances do. The vanilla is the star of the show but I do get the incense and woods and I luv it

It took a while, but after several uses, I eventually got to the point where the EDP and the third/red one did conjure up associations with the oceanic, aquatic DNA of the original, but you're definitely right to emphasize that these don't fit into the traditional category of aquatic fragrances. I think that's a good thing. I usually find aquatics pretty boring, without much to distinguish them. (Imaginary Authors has some "aquatic" fragrances that are quite unique.) I prefer the EDP personally but the 2024 release is very interesting too. I just thought it was a bit one-dimensional, although that's probably because I have less experience with it. I have a pretty "dumb" nose in the sense that it takes several repetitions for me to really discern all the elements and the progression of an unfamiliar fragrance.

Le Parfum is great on first wearing. I smelled one of the other two and never understood why it was called ocean.

I always snobed Prada but my wife keep saying me to try yhem, 4 years ago i tried L homme and love it. After that I got the others Ocean line Carbon, Black all of them was nice. Until 1 week ago tried Luna rosaa OG EDT omg this is in my Opinion Masterpiece.

I really smell the similarities between the EdT and the Le Parfum. But I find the le parfum to be much richer, rounder and more “mature”.

LE Parfum to me is Prada’s version of Creed Centaurus.

I have all the Prada LR's. My thoughts echo yours. The Le Perfum is special. I like it and after 4-5 uses I love it. EDP then EDT, althought the EDT doesnt do much for me. I dont get the sweetness you reference in the EDT.
