Once u have a personal relationship with God, the Holy Spirit will guide u ... Therefore it's no one's place to judge a person that has tattoos or piercings. Let the Holy Spirit work on the individual. If he allows or He disallows

I’m converting into the church and I will say coming from a strict Baptist upbringing I was very nervous being heavily tattooed with ear rings and nose rings and I can say every one in the church has been kind to me and haven’t made any remarks one reason I have decided to convert as well

This feels so wrong. I am covered in tattoos from living a non-Christian lifestyle most of my life. I feel convicted for each and every single one. Obviously God knows my heart and we’ve talked about it many times. I know he loves me. That’s not the issue. The issue is that scripture clearly tells us to honor our temple. Putting permanent markings all over your body is consecrating your body to something other than God. I know some people feel like there’s a gray area if the tattoo in question is a tribute to God in someway, but do you really believe that mutilating your skin and defacing your temple is how he wants you to honor him? I really feel like this is one of those topics where people will manipulate scripture to support the lifestyle they want to live rather than making the sacrifice and doing the right thing for your relationship with Christ.

Father, I wanted to get a piece to honor my walk with the Lord. I was hoping to get a cross with a flower with Bible verses in the vines. Are there specific flowers the church uses to signify meanings? I’ve been doing tons of research and wanted to find the right flower to honor Him!

OH MY thank you much I was soo scared. I wanted to get a tattoo of creation (flower butterfly something pure and created by God etc) and I was soo afraid that I wouldn’t get to heaven but you made me feel so much better. God bless you ❤️

It is quite apparent that most leaders are scared to say the truth as it is and rather throw their carnal understanding of the scriptures to cater for the masses of different belief sets, , and condemn our souls to hell instead of saving us. Everything is wrong with this teaching. The Christian bible says it is wrong so who is man to give reasons why it is right. Brethren I choose to differ, not because of any personal reasons but because the bible tells me so. We shall all be judged, both the great and small, the pastor and the lay man. Lets flee from such doctrines that misleads us into hell (2Tim 3:1-17 / 1Cor3:17). HEAVEN & HELL is real and little mistakes and decisions like this one can be a decider where we shall go. I think tongue piercings are wrong though because of the origins of it. You need to be careful because others might take what you're saying wrong.

I go to a catholic school and i really want a septum nose piercing but I'll probably get kicked out. What do I do?
