Families from North and South Korea separated for decades by the Korean War held their first reunion in three years Monday at a resort area in North Korea’s Kumgang Mountains.

Some 90 elderly Koreans have reunited after a convoy of buses crossed the border into the North. Many of them wept as they embraced family members, some of whom they hadn’t seen in more than 60 years.

Sad but beautiful. Thanks mr. President for being open minded and not a pathetic politician. Because you were willing to talk to the dictator that all the self absorbed politicians were to good to be in the same room with, you made the progress that they could not 👍

Let all those on the list see their families before they pass. Only about 80 from a lottery got this opportunity.
