New Guidelines for Prevention and Management of Stroke-2022
Stroke: Rapidly developed clinical signs of focal (or global) disturbance of cerebral function, lasting more than 24 hours or leading to death, with no apparent cause other than of vascular origin’.
Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) : AHA/ASA (2009) A transient episode of neurological dysfunction caused by focal brain, spinal cord, or retinal ischemia without acute infarction.
