How many acres does a horse need? Horses got a brand new PAD...

We have been working on our back acreage for a while trying to get it ready for our horses. There last paddock was less than an acre...now they have over eight acres to run free!! and they love it! Oh, and 1 horse should have its own 2 acres...so these two should have at least 4 acres.
