10-20 min is the best format in my opinion.

Longer videos (5-15 minutes) are better than shorts!

Long video is the best because it’s easy to find for reminding and refreshing the knowledge.

I would recommend short videos, each explaining just one principle with some nice illustrative example of how the principle is used. And then maybe some questions to provoke students to think about it. Simple question type of how can you use it in your portfolio project can do the trick.

Uncle Stefan, we would appreciate having both. The shorts on the go and the long for deeper listening

I’d watch either but the longer video would be nice since the laws would all be in one place.

Short vids as an intro to longer more detailed courses would be a huge contribution. Nice content by the way !

I personally love watching videos that are straight to the point. Typically 5-10 min long average. But recently, I've been seeing these kinds of short format, and it's fine too as long as it's really informative.

Love the topic. 5 to 7 minutes would be great

You could do a long video, then publish each rule as shorts, infact you should do this for most of your other content pretty good stuff, Keep it up.

Short clips are ok if you make a playlist and group them together.

I like your content presented in any format sir

Okay... do short 2 min videos on these "LAWS" and if one or two generate increased engagement, you can then proceed to make a longer video on that. The shorter vids gauge what the audience want type of thing. Thanks for everything Stefan.

I prefer the longer videos. And also I think these type of short videos will also mess with how the YT algorithm favors your channel if you're used to and have built an audience with longer videos.

I personally prefer the longer videos but i think the younger audience may prefer the shorts. Hey, whatever pays the most, gets you the most hits and/or you prefer, much like life; its all about balance. Its all good stuff either way ;-)

Great idea. Just as short as possible so we can save them and go back as necessary and replay. Just make each one about a single law of code, or a single element of code, like: Only have a function do one single thing. Or whatever.

I think 10 min videos are the best format.

uncle stef, long or short: just bring it on we need to listen to you just bring it on

i think that a 20 minutes long video is more detailed than a short video, so i'd prefer that over shorts.

The only "laws of code" I follow are those enforced by the interpreter, compiler or system.
Make it run correct, make it run fast!
