This podcast is very special as we will hear our minister of external affairs as we see this man is like "hr jagah chhaya h"... Please, do a podcast with Dr Abhas Mitra ji about his journey and stumbling blocks in his career as a scientist and also, with Prof Jayant Vishnu Narlikar. ❤

The point Dr. Jaishankar concluded is that it really doesn't matter where you live. You can move back and forth from India to the US to the EU and then back to India, and maybe even again to the US. The world is becoming interconnected, and the nursing sector will experience significant growth in the next 15 to 20 years.

However, even if you live in NJ, NY, or maybe LA, and you are a person of Indian birth or origin, please try to contribute to India's growth. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have to come back to India, but at least lobby for India's interests.

People that leave want an opportunity to build the American dream. We need to create the environment were people have the opportunity to create the Indian dream. This means great infrastructure, great service attitude/delivery mentality and no corruption. Then people will naturally stay. The big trump card we have is family!

Ranveer: In your career as a diplomat have you ever encountered a Yeti

Actually, there isn't anything wrong with going abroad for new opportunities, if you don't go then others will take those same opportunities, the problem arises when people start pushing their biases and beliefs on to others, creating a vicious cycle. some new generation indian origin kids still think India is like the 90s, I think its mainly because of their parents influence. Personally for someone like me who had a made life choice all about going to IIT (which never got fulfilled due to various reasons). The USA is the path that I found to pursue those aspirations. Honestly after coming here I understood, our goal shouldn't revolve around a single college or university(in USA there are surplus good public colleges, so it's more of a what you want to do in life) in India, it's completely reverse, your college is what decides your life and what you want to pursue. honestly as long as we make our life choices in terms of IIT or NIT or some other college, it's never gonna end(not some preaching, that's just my experience or take it as a opinion). In the USA 1% of the Indian community directly or indirectly contribute to 33% of total startups in silicon valley. Surely, There must be something working for them in the USA that it's not in India.

A number of our veterans community including myself served in UN Security Forces as part of Special Mission Services and when our tenures were over we returned willingly. Having understood the perils and challenging assignments we implemented our learnings to indian context. And I'm glad to inform that is helping us build a stronger nation.
