I wish they had kept the strategy of switching from Blue to God during battle. That was awesome. Even the anime later took that idea.

While I do agree with the Omen awakening in the Manga... It was a Tournament and Goku in the anime was pushed to be at Death's front doorstep, so, as he said at the end of the Tournament of Power arc, it was purely accidental and he can't fully tap into that power for right now. This gives room to pick up on where the manga left off after the Tournament of Power arc with regard to Goku attaining UI again and training to master the ability to where he can tap into it again at will.

I loved the T.O.P exhibition match in the manga
We finally get to see Beerus in a fight again after god knows how long it has been since Battle of Gods

But Kaioken finally came back after being left in the dust by super saiyan never being used again, I do like that blue felt more special in manga but kaioken is too cool

I think the anime explanation made more sense. Also, we got that sweet supreme kamehameha in the anime

Goku coming out of that spirit bomb and acheiving ui was sick but it would have been better if goku remembered all of his masters teachings and we could have a flashback of every master goku's trained with

my issue with roshi dodging jiren is that, yes it's narratively better but being able to dodge instinctively only gets you so far when the power (and as such the SPEED) gap is so huge. jiren is orders of magnitude stronger than roshi without even trying, even if roshi could subconsciously see a hit coming, moving his body out of the way would probably be too slow to work well.
for example, to roshi, there would be damn near no difference between jiren being stupidly fast and hit literally skipping through time and I think we all agree that for the most part, time skip would be tricky, even for ultra insinct users since the way goku dealt with it in the U6 tournament was by thinking and predicting, the exact opposite of what UI does

roshi vs jiren(and manga ui awakening) and gohan vs kefla are moments i wish were done in the anime, its sad that they’ll never be animated

One thing the anime did better was giving future trunks the spotlight, super Saiyan rage was awesome and let him fight black

Roshi fighting Jiren was a stupid moment, showing another issue with the powerscaling of DBS

I love the character of Muten Roshi, but I don't buy for a minute that Goku forgot his masters' teachings up until then. I don't even mind that Roshi was able to pull off evading Jiren for a minute. But there's no way though that was all it took for Goku to learn Ultra Instinct. I find it much more believable that his near death experience with the Genki dama unlocked something in him.
