Robin and Mary had such self-absorbed reactions to Christine's news. No empathy or concern about how she's doing, or how hard a decision like this must be for her-like true friends. I loved the way Christine exploded when Kody said they would have to have equal custody. Not ever being there for his kids is exactly what spurred her on to go for it! He is unbelievable!

It varies from state to state but custody generally refers to the decision making process for the minor child. So Kody as her father could have 50% custody and Christine could have full physical placement. My understanding is that Kody is not even on the birth certificate so he most likely has no rights. I’m guessing because otherwise Christine would not have been able to move so far away.

They all knew, in my opinion. Robyn knew because Kody told her, we already saw that episode. She definitely told Mari because she can’t keep it to herself. I believe that Christine may have told Janelle because she needed someone to talk to but she said that she wouldn’t tell anyone, so who knows. Kody of course told Robyn, even though he asked Christine to promise she wouldn’t. Then he ran home to tell his wife all about it. He’s two faced as well as a liar. He is the one who causes all of the drama, in fact he’s one of the biggest drama queens I’ve ever seen. Whoa is me Kody, lol!

The only child that Kody might have to help support or want some custodial relationship is Truly. The others are all adults and will or will not have an ongoing relationship with their dad as they please. Also Truly is over 12 so if this becomes a court matter her wishes will be taken into account.
