Thaggu ke laddu is very famous from a long time, my mother tells me how she in her childhood used to have laddoos there, in 1980s. But I haven't been able to lay my hands on them yet.

Gyan Vaishnav offers the best veg food in Kanpur apart from some other crowded joints in Gumti no. 5. Banarasi ki chai aur bun in Ashoknagar. I've some very happy memories of these places while posted at Kanpur. Thanks for the upload! You should cover other food joints of Swaroop nagar.
