can i just say that i love the front bottoms! i noticed pretty much immediately that that’s the band playing in the background and as an aspiring barista it just makes me smile to know that you like the nasal voice of the front bottoms the same way i do (it’s relaxing in a way) 🥰😎

I love my Gaggia! Auber PID, 9 bar spring, vct basket/bl pf, and a good grinder and I can make coffee house level espresso!

Agree with this. Issue with complainers is they do not understand espresso and that coffe oils/scale do damage to internals over time, that puck prep is important and that you can't use your 50$ grinder with this, nor can you easily use pre ground beans. Also, crema is not a gage of quality no matter how smooth it looks.

Very Cheap machine, but loved by many.
Returned mine day one and got something 8x more expensive. Even that was a “budget” friendly machine compared to end game. GCP if you are broke but need espresso at home. Then it’s a win.

New to coffee tempted by breville models but the reputation and quality of build of the gaggi is impressive. What else do I need to buy if get the gaggia?

I see some random combos but does anyone sell a "starter kit"?
BTW the idea that all I need to add to breville is a scale and its ready to go is very appealing too

My only complaints about mine is the group head bolts constantly loosen up. It comes with a 12bar spring and a pressurized basket. The temp surfing is a wild guessing game so it's impossible to actually be consistent cup to cup. It's more challenging than my 2 group commercial rancilio to pull a good tasting shot. I am suuuper disconnected from the "average" coffee drinker though. Haven't been to a single Cafe that I thought pulled a decent shot (aside from a little mom and pop cuban restaurant in my city but that's not a cafe lol)

Do you think this machine would work for a small grocery store? We want to start adding coffee and bakery stuff to our store but we don’t wanna risk it and buy a very expensive and pro machine…

Hi! Would you recommend this machine for a small eco store? Id use it a little everyday, but would it be "good enough" for a small using as a "commercial machine"?

Not gonna lie it’s the most frustrating machine to work with as a beginner. I’d recommend going with any of the brevilles and then move on to prosumer machines like Lelit or La Marzocco

Brand new Gaggia evo pro, filter holder very tight and does not line up with reference marks on machine. Returning the junk

I'm confused. How can a machine be more advanced if you're pulling a shot of espresso from this machine it's the same regardless if it's new out of the box or you add things to it. By adding things to it how is it going to make your espresso shot better?
