It is not realistic i made around 200 shorts and the profit was around 2000 bucks. Why do people still fall for that bs?

Great video. I feel that YouTube shorts are getting like really popular these days because they are short and expressive, and people don't have much time for anything longer. That's why I am recently trying to make expressive content (and after I post it, I use a lot of Famester to help me make it go viral).

I have a challenge for @Quirky Quest...

I swear I'm gonna try it out (I will do exactly what he's saying the way he's saying), and I'll let you know after this 30 days, what was the result.

At the end of this period, I'll let Quirky Quest expose my results on a video or short.

That's how we'll validate if this channel real or another scam.

Quirky Quest anwer that comment and then I'll tell everyone the date i will start and the deadline.

great work, quirky mate! wondering, did you ever think about completely different concepts, like, those channels who have 3-10 hours of music mixed with nature sounds (for relaxation, study, sleep)? there are tons meanwhile and there's definitely a success concept behind it. but it's pretty hard to get hooked up by the algorithm, even if you use the exact same content as the top successful one in your niche, same quality and editing etc - would it be something you would consider making another "test"?

an example. there's a channel named Nemo's Dreamscapes. the concept is to have a retro picture with some animated elements in it and oldies music in the background which is edited as it comes from another room. which is by the way his main keyword for his channel. actually totally simple, yet, no one else had such success like him. ever. many channels tried smth similar but those channels have never lift off. his concept is, tbh, UNIQUE and I think it's hard to start off something that is EXACTLY of the same concept. it should have it's own USP. which is actually not that hard... but if it's too similar, you stay in Nemo's shadow and you don't appear in the search results he "owns" meanwhile.

I recently "invented" a concept which is also unique and i think it has similar chances. i mean, when Nemo came up with his concept (basically animated pic plus muffled oldies music) - did he know it would be a boombastic success in the future? no!!!! but he did what he did and YT picked it up and since - he's legend! now, I wonder what to put also in a "success box" except a unique concept, which is as odd as Nemo's was in the beginning ('till everyone liked it) to please the YT algo properly... what do you think, Quirky?

btw, I would love to have a brainstorming with someone who knows the YT stuff a bit better than me. I have already started a second channel and think of having a "partner for experimenting" to share the fruits of success later. in case the whole thing has a chance at all.... sry for the book.... 😉😉

PS.: Nemo has a lot of subscribers but cant monetize his content since a lot of the music causes copyright issues, so he only earns from donations. I wonder why he is not making tons of money by merchandizing, since he has followers who would love to buy items with his branding; i.e. caps, t-shirts or mugs. I saw this so often in the comments. But he's leaving all the money on the table. weird thing; I'm in the merchandising business since years and would know exactly what to do and how. but unfortunately I don't have a YT channel with a number of followers that make sense to start the merch biz. would love to start a Nemo-like channel together with someone...

Socialblades measures every single view with long form rpm, so those stats at the beginning are wrong.

What about the monetization from such channels? Can such channels be monetized?

So it's cool to use YouTube videos in my shorts and still get monetized? As long as I add music, edits and arrows?
