I've had the pleasure of meeting a few Hawaiians thanks to my job (one of which I consider a good friend). They are the most sincere and kindhearted people you could meet. They are also gifted storytellers. I love to hear my friend's stories of his childhood in Hawaii. I wish to visit those blessed islands one day.

I just found my son from my 1st marriage born in 1991. Didn't meet him until last year in Alabama. The greatest feeling there is. My 2nd oldest sister helped set up the meeting with him & I. He's a great kid, very level headed to say the least. Now my whole family is behind us. Sad to say his mom isn't.

My Mum's youngest brother was adopted out during WW2, he promised his parents he wouldn't look for his biological parents until they were gone. He was into offroad racing, very well known in the industry and participated interstate as well so he knew a lot of people in the industry. He always suspected he might be related to some of those in Melbourne even though he lived in Sydney. Well he was right they were related and he became very close to them all, to look at him, he could have been mine or my cousin's father we look so much alike. He was a welcome addition to the family, and especially to his siblings. My Mum was devasted as she was the eldest and never knew her Mum had been pregnant with him, my Mum was busy looking after her younger brothers during the war while Gran was working. Gosh, she loved him so once he came into her world. It was awesome. Bless the pair of you for finding this out now xx
