OMG, I just bought this tv yesterday except mine is a 47in. One thing I noticed is that if you tap the tv nearly anywhere, it starts to glitch out. It does have lag in games but if you put it on game mode, it reduces the lag to the point of non-existance. I don't have any hdmi cables so I cannot really say anything about 3d or hd but in the store I was impressed.

@StandardofPurity You do not have to sit directly in front of the tv to get a 3D Effect (althought directly in front is best). I'm not sure what the official 3D viewing angle is but I've managed to watch the 3D effects anywhere on my couch which is approx. 60 degrees off-center (Left and Right) of the Television. Hope that helps. You can always check out a floor sample at Best Buy or Walmart or wherever before buying your desired TV.

@get100s Yes the TV came pre-loaded with the pandora app. If for some reason you don't have it pre-loaded you may be able to download and install it from the "add more apps" screen (using your TV hooked up to the internet of course). Good luck with that.

@LeonMD1 Definitely! I'm playing Crysis 2 at the moment in 1080p 3D, it's so awesome!

I got my 42" 3D TV back in December and I got a bundle that came with a Blu-ray player and about 5 pairs of 3D glasses for only $500.

@JimDHart It's a complicated question. HDMI 1.4 is the latest HDMI standard right now and it supports 1080p full 3D. On my videos I used a HDMI 1.3 cable with 3D Half Side By Side . Interestingly the PS3 also uses HDMI 1.3 to display 3D. If you are worried, just get the 1.4 HDMI cable (it's backwards compatible anyways) - it can run you $10 on-line if you look. Finally, yes to play 3D you need a 3D source or media (ie Bluray 3D, Youtube 3D, 3D files from computer).

I just picked this vizio up Tue morning. Its great! I can't take advantage of the 3D just yet but the 2D viewing is great. I have my Xbox on it and that also looks great. No gaming lag at all. Controller takes some getting used to. And the stand is a little weird and wobbly. All in all the TV is

@magic8697 Yes. All LCD TV's (3D-LCD included) have the option to hook your laptop (or desktop) to it. For 3D content on this TV you'll need 1) a HDMI hook up from your computer & 2) 3D content playing on your laptop/computer. Interestingly, this TV accepts RGB (via monitor cable from your computer) but won't display it in 3D.

@volta229 The *Default* on the TV is Standard (2D) 1080p NOT 3D so to answer your question is DOES NOT STAY IN 3D ALL THE TIME. The TV will ask you to switch to 3D if it recognizes a 3D source via HDMI or you can set the 3D mode manually (*see all my Vizio 3D videos if you need more clarification*).

It means that the screen refreshes itself 120 times in one second. Higher refresh rate (hz) may mean better quality picture especially for fast motion. TV's come in 60hz, 120hz, and 240hz refresh rates these days... I honestly can't tell the difference between a 60hz vs 240hz tv but apparently it's important.

@theJDman Think about your question. The key is only Special Videos/Movies will work in 3D when you select 3D. The video I played (The Making of A Christmas Carol) clearly was meant to be watched in 3D because it had a SIDE BY SIDE IMAGE - which the 3DTV will convert to a single blurry image once you press the 3D button. However, if you have a Video or DVD that is not meant for 3D (ie a Standard DVD or a Standard Bluray Disk) the 3DTV won't be able to display it in 3D - it's that simple.

@jawbraeka As far as I know this TV only supports the NTSC standard (not PAL). Playing with the setting on the TV and looking over the owner's manual there is no indication that it will accept PAL input. A way around this would be to buy a special Player (DVD or Bluray) that will convert PAL to NTSC via HDMI.

Thanks for taking the time to post this video. I purchased this TV a few days ago, and am now on the hunt for a decent 3D player to go with it. Surprisingly, there is a great deal of confusion right now about what is required to produce 3D on a TV. Maybe you can clear this up. I was told (at BestBuy) that you must have a HDMI 1.4 cable (1.3 won't work). I was also told you have to have a source that specifically produces 3D images. From your video I don't think that is true.

I like it (obviously) that is why I posted my videos. For certain movies (and I suppose games too although I am not a gamer) it adds another layer of enjoyment...
