Nick Wilde Backstory - Disney Explained

Hey howdy hey how is everybody doing and welcome back to Disney Daily!

Zootopia is by far one of the most creative stories, I think Disney has done in a while.
It takes audiences on a journey to a land where animals live just like humans: from their careers, to their transportation systems, to their personalities.

Throughout the movie we are introduced to different animals who all play a special part to the story and one of those is a fox named Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman).

Nick is known for being the local con artist who eventually has a change of heart and decides he will no longer be the sly and tricky fox everyone expects him to be.

Now while we do get some backstory in the movie in regards to why Nick became a criminal. As it turns out there is a lot more to learn in regards to his past (which was cut from the movie)
So we are going to discuss his full story in today’s video.

Seriously. At first, I just thought this was gonna be another animated Disney movie and it was actually no big deal BUT, I was wrong. The story behind Zootopia is so touching and thrilling. The movie's just so undeniably precious and interesting and in my opinion one of the best Disney movies which are a must-watch! And 'Try Everything' is an awesome song, thanks to Shakira...
Also, Nick is naturally my favourite character here...His ability to appear sly and clever with a smug smirk on his face at all times and yet, have a golden heart is so AMAZING!!!

To answer your question, my favorite character from Zootopia is hands down Nick. From his style to his personality, to his tragic backstory everything about this lovable fox has made me adore him.

I was surprised that it was Jason Bateman who voiced Nick. I know him the best from the comedy show, Arrested Development.

OMG! I loved Zootopia. It was so new and interesting when it came out. I like how the creators showed how Nike’s goal wasn’t to be a criminal but he became one through his actions. My favorite character would have to be flash because of the DMV scene 😂. Great video!

Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps now both wear new clothes in Zootopia 2:
Nick Wilde now wears a Hawaiian pink button-up shirt and blue pants and a green neck tie and summer hat (Related to Judy’s uniform at the Hopps Family Farm while working as a carrot farmer there.) and Judy Hopps now wears a blue shirt and purple jacket on top and blue pants and a baseball cap (A callback to Mike’s baseball cap from Monsters’ University.) instead of Nick and Judy’s police uniforms or even the clothes they wore in the first Zootopia movie, and I wonder why this is?
Maybe to metaphorically show that Nick and Judy changed as characters thanks to their character arcs in the first Zootopia movie related to Ash in the first two Sing movies plus Meena?
Nick and Judy possibly become fugitives and went into hiding from the sequel’s new villain and changed their clothes to camouflage themselves both physically and their personalities and hide from the villain or wore these clothes while going undercover in Zootopia’s uncharted districts including the Marshland District to figure out and stop Gary the Viper’s evil plans and goals.

I just watched Zootopia the other night with my family. Such a great Disney movie my favorite character is actually a toss between Nick & Chief Bogo. Heard there might be a Zootopia 2

The junior ranger scouts (who are all prey animals.) doesn't want nick because he is a predator & it makes him the only predator present for them.

When I was young I was really scared for a lot of Disney movies but now when I watch those I seriously find something sad and something to enjoy. Zootopia was one of those. This is the verry 1st time I found a characters backstory so sad. My fav character is Judy Hopps but I really feel sad about Nick
