I was lied to by people claiming halal is meaningless cruelty you opeened my eyes thank you. I might not be muslim and dont plan to be (I like the gods and teachings of my religion) this gave me mad respect for the islamic faith

In Islam we don’t slaughter animals in front of their brothers and sisters. The person in the video was just showing an example of submission he didn’t actually slaughter it infront of the brothers. Just clarifiying 👍

The swift cutting of vessels of the neck disconnects the flow of blood to the nerve of the brain responsible for pain. Thus the animal does not feel pain. While dying, the animal struggles or writhes or shakes or kicks, not due to pain, but due to the contraction and relaxation of the muscles and due to the flow of blood out of the body. The swift swipe cuts the carotid artery, jugular vein causing all the blood to flow out of the body because the heart doesn't stop immediately. Whereas when you give a hard strike from the back i.e on the spinal cord that may lead to sudden stoppage of heart disallowing the blood from completely flowing out of the body.

I am a vegitarian so to start with this is not my scene. But if I did eat meat I would support whoever and whereever these people are as they seem very clear on what how and why they are doing what they do.

I used to be afraid when an animal is getting slaughtered and couldn't ate that meat but after seeing how it really works I'm just here to say "subhana allah, Alhamdulilah.
Edit:i was born being Muslim and I'm not vegan.
