I love this woman...what a discovery this has been tonight. I'm going to have construct an entire compilation to sleep with. Exceptional. If I was young in the 50's I would've gone to see her for sure. She just has that voice that doesn't wear with repeated listenings. It's almost like Billie Holiday with singing lessons. This song is so sexy, sublime & doused in perfection. Wonderful Ethel. You didn't do anything wrong in your career. The record companies and your management dropped the ball.
