Wow I'm surprised they were still using that old motor in 82. My Husky 250CR is an 82 and has the newer "primary kick" motor. The 430 debuted that motor in 81 and I'd assumed everything had it by 82, but I guess XCs and WRs were even later to the party.

Nice bike dude. I had 84 400 husky, 83 250, 83 430 that some one put car shocks on it. Very tall bike. Man y'all doing it big at kaplen cycles

Don't tighten the bolt on the front of the gas tank, it had a spring loaded bolt originally, too tight puts stress on the bottom pinchwelds and they crack and leak gas, some catch on fire leaking down on the spark wire.
