Tips for the slide:
1. Only attempt right after the red wave or it will kill you when you land
2. Aim carefully, the surface is really misleading/bugged.
3. Wait until you're almost at the bottom of the first slide.
4. Do a quick triple mash of the jump button, it doesn't seem to want to trigger first time.

Honestly though screw Ubisoft for cramming 1, 000 fucked puzzles into this game when 25 decent ones would have been fine.

For some reason Basim won't jump for me at the section where you slide, then have to jump to the next slide.

I used to like these puzzles.. But when you press the jump button (on xbox) and your character doesn't jump.. Or your character can cling to anything except she forgets how to grab on when you want her to.. If Ubisoft would fix some basic, core game features (like jumping and climbing), this would be a more enjoyable game. But at least we got some yule event? Yea, that's more important than basic character movement... Nice one, Ubisoft..

Finally figured it out. Tip: once you make it to the second tier or second individual beam killing yourself will make you respawn up there.

OMFG that slide. Unbelievable that the game came out 2 years ago and they still haven't (and won't ever) fix the platforming issues.

Like how is one of the key defining features of this franchise - the parkour - actually getting WORSE with each new game ?
