You don't need to fight Japan for the territory in the peace deal, they give all the territory to you as it's your cores.

Another exploit I enjoy as Japan is that any Neutral nation in the world can join the Chinese United Front if you declare on them. I normally declare on Siam and Tibet for the extra territory, but you can take it as far as Greece, Portugal, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. I think Spain won't join the faction though, and of course the American countries are protected. And of course Nationalist China would be the only major.

I wish paradox would do a little rework for some of the research stuff, especially in the case of minor nations that have nothing researched to start with. Why does researching light mg 1 for planes need to be done? Couldn't it be counted in with infantry 1? Or for AA, couldn't that unlock cannons for planes too maybe? Engine for tanks and planes? Just an idea to make it less time consuming for those 3-4 slot nations

Very important to note about this strat is that if your combat width is too large you'll lose the border clashes. 7/1 or 7/2 is perfect.

In the peace conference it may be saying that Japan wants to take those states, but if you actually check what they tried to enforce, it should say they wanted to give the states to you, as you’re in their faction and they will try to give you your core states.

If you think about it, this is incredibly dark. A warlord state has allied itself with Japan. We all know what the Japanese did to the civilian population of Chien Kai-shek's Nationalist China. An allied Chinese state would probably not suffer the same fate as to not have them turn on Japan. Meaning swarms of Chinese civilians would be fleeing from the Japanese invasion into this warlord state, boosting it's manpower and workforce which it uses to advance the war effort exponentially.
That is a diabolical strategy.
