Samsung 4G Mobile HotSpot for Verizon Review

PhoneArena reviews the Samsung 4G Mobile HotSpot for Verizon. Two years ago we reviewed the Verizon Novatel MiFi 2200, which was Verizon's first 3G mobile hotspot. Since then, things have changed, most notably with the addition of 4G LTE to its network. So it comes as no surprise that eventually there would be a hotspot to make use of it. Bought one of these recently along with Verizon's 4g month to month data plan. It's great for using your laptop where there is no WiFi, such as in cruising down the highway or in hotels who want to charge by the day for WiFi.
No 4G in our area but have been getting download speeds between 1.2 and 1.5 mbps on 3G.
So far haven't encountered the problem of stalling.

No, though the bandwidth is adequate the lag is horrible.
About 20x slower then a DSL or fiber optic land line.
Players will complain about people using 3g/4g having too much lag.

Yes guys it could work on any device as long as it takes wifi

The lag on Verizon is too high.
About 15x to 20x slower then landline.
Just going to the main hub takes 60ms.

I haven't had any stalling on my Samsung.... Strange.
I even watched a long movie on netflix just to test it.
MAybe I haven't tested it thoroughly.

BULLSHIT MAN I use this on my ps3 and it constantly drops from a 3 bar down to a two bar. Fucking piece of shit, I'm getting verizon high speed internet. The ping is like 100ms. Though it's great for hd vids on YouTube.
