Is The Waterbending Mythic Better Than ARs In Season 2? (Zero Build Tips and Tricks)

In this video I talk about the Waterbending mythic in Fortnite and how some players prefer it over any AR after it was recently buffed. The Waterbending mythic is basically a burst rifle and recently got increased damage, fire rate, headshot multiplier, and increased travel speed of its projectiles making it a lot better. Let me know down in the comments below if you prefer the waterbending mythic or an AR in season 2.

The range on the mythic is nuts. We were hitting players across the map that were barely a pixel wide.

“They don’t want to use anime crap!” 😅😂😂😮

You can use it over a sniper or DMR, don’t even need to replace the AR

Warforged, Gatekeeper + Water bending is amazing! Still room for balls and shields/heals

At 4:20, Im guessing you had the Zeus medallion screwing up the jump with the shockwaves, cuz that was painful to watch. Unlucky bro.
Good video.

I play a on a big 144hz oled and i can absolutely smoke people 200m+ with waterbending. Waterbending, gatekeeper, shockwave, and two heals or maybe windbending mobility will be the meta

I think water is a better DMR/long range as there is no drop or it is very minimal. Fire bending is a good close/ mid sub and earth is a great sub for close / bunkering. Air is a mobility / fall damage buffer

I remember that the first day, it had no crosshair, so I lost my first "round" on sighting and didn't really like it. But the burst rifle analogy helps me understand why I get along with it so well now with the crosshair - it utterly melts people. But I'm working at using the AR's as well, since I know it will leave. I don't like it long range because the target can more easily dodge.

I appreciate your analysis and the In The Mind videos. Thank you!

It reminds of the Burst AR from Chapter 1. A lot of people hated it, but it was so good. The range of waterbending is ridiculous and not fall-off damage makes it all the more insane.

In my book, watwrbending is efficiently broken.

If you're playing BR, unlimited ammo that does good structure damage for builds can definitely make a difference. Chopping out builds in early/mid game can sometimes come at a price based on how much ammo you might have. But obviously this wouldn't be an issue for Zero Builds.

It's better, had a buff then a shadow nerf. Still op. Same with the chains. Hit box on both adjusted it seems. That's from using both alot over ar and shotguns. Feel doesn't translate to actual change but that's what I'm seeing from last week.

Waterbending Mythic is absolutely OP, and I love it!

I totally agree. It’s great and hits hard but for me it’s not as good as a red dot warforged. I found the lag when swapping hard to use in a fight and aiming is much harder.

The kill you had at 1:40 was nice Jake

I like the healing and sometimes carry it instead of med kits. There seems to be plenty of water around on this map.

Hey 1ST of all Your clips give me a better understanding of the game mechanics.
My load out at start of game is Burst, Shotty (Whatever i can get) Meneses AR (The higher the better), fizz/fizz fruit/cans, Big Shields. End of Game is Burst (Laser, Drum Mag, Silencer, Vertical Grip, NO Scope), Water Bending, Menises (Vertical Grip, Drum Mag, Silencer, Grip 1.3 Scope), Fizz/Fizz Fruit/Cans, Big Shields. Sometimes if i can get purple or better sniper (Silencer, Angled Grip, Drum Mag, 4X scope) this would replace the Fizzes.

Water bending def aint too bad ...
It has alot of positives for sure...

But I find when I carry this item I'm less likly to carry regular green heals.. some times it cost me..

Theres been other times where i wished i kept it cause im full shield near end game and need to pass thro water and got 20 green HP..

If i got a low quality AR or smg good chance im picking this up..

It can be clutch with the healing and you move quicker while in water too, ya can drop it for team mates too to heal up as well and save healing items for later.

It can be a great thing to find if your rebooted with not much ammo too...

Over all its a decent item for sure, but not sure what a perfect loadout for it would be at this time.. it has it perks and negatives

The range is too much and it needs more damage falloff, IMO. You hardly have to aim and it still shreds.
