Algeria Accuses Morocco Of ''Zionist Espionage''; Slaps Visa Requirements | Firstpost Africa

Algeria has accused Morocco of being involved with an Israeli spy operation. The Algerian government accused Rabat of sending Israeli intelligence agents, reportedly using Moroccan passports. In response, Algiers has slapped visa requirements for all Moroccan passport holders. Apart from conducting “Zionist espionage", Algeria's foreign ministry has accused Moroccan passport holders of a slew of others including drug and human trafficking, smuggling, and illegal migration. Neighbors in Algeria and Morocco do not share cordial ties. The borders between the two nations have been closed for the last three decades.
