Airbus mode reversion
Selected mode for lateral navigation and managed mode for vertical navigation are not compatible
In this video the aircraft is flying in managed mode.
Selecting a heading - which is a selected mode - will automatically revert the vertical mode from managed to selected mode.
If CLB is active, OP CLB will be selected.
If DES is active, V/S will be selected; in this case the vertical speed at the moment of reversion will be maintained.
The changes are highlighted boxed white and a triple click warning sounds
