When Hezbollah attacked Israel in October 8, 2023 firing more than 9000 rockets, it was a self destructive action to themselves to the effect that the Assad regime also fell as Hezbollah turns to be so weak in a year's time of fighting with the IDF.

The Syrian rebels has so much to thanks to Israel, that if not for the destruction of Hezbollah it was impossible for them to advance against the Assad regime with Hezbollah protecting it.

Jolani announced that all Syrian armed groups have to give up arms and join national army. The Syrian Druze don't want to give their weapons up to HTS as they don't trust Muslims considering their genocidal attempts in the Druze in history. Just a hunch, but I think the Druze will say they have no weapons, but in fact Israel (or the Israeli Druze) will safe keep them until a potential time of need. That's smart.
