RULES:

The rules are the same as regular Jenga except for these changes. For a refresher of those rules, check out this video. Build the tower with each block in a layer nesting with the one next to it. The shape of the tower can be however you like. The color of the blocks has no impact to the gameplay. You are not allowed to straighten the tower at any time. When placing a block on top of the tower you must nest it in the direction of the other blocks. The player who makes the tower topple builds the tower for the next game. For advanced extreme rules, you can play that the same color block cannot be removed two turns in a row.

My great uncle served in WWII. He was drafted and by 1942 was a F2C in the Navy on the USS Juneau. Juneau was torpedoed and sank during the battle of Guadalcanal. He along with most of his crew went down with the ship. The torpedo had hit the ship’s magazine, and from what I could find it sank within 30 seconds of being hit. The 5 Sullivan brothers from Iowa were all lost on the Juneau as well.
I knew none of this until last month from doing genealogical research.
