Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met Pope Francis at the Vatican.

Ukraine's leader gifted the Pope an icon with an image of the Madonna, which had been painted on a bullet-proof vest used by a Ukrainian soldier.

President Zelensky earlier met Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who promised Rome's continued support for Ukraine.

What kind of war is this that the president has time to meet people and speak at entertainment events??? Ive never seen a leader of a country that is the location of a war everywhere except there. He basically makes cameos.
