A teacher lives a lonely life, all the while struggling over his son's custody. His life slowly gets better as he finds love and receives good news from his son, but his new luck is about to be brutally shattered by an innocent little lie.

The ending is literal. He can't escape his tainted image. Some people will never believe the adult over the child. He will spend the rest of his life watching over his shoulder. What a perfect performance that little girl made though. Incredible little actress

Something similar to this happened to me at my former junior college. A male college dean started a rumor that was spread by social media to the college staff and instructors. They harassed and threatened me. I didn't know what or why they did this to me. It went on for years. Nothing I could say would be believed by anyone at the college. The campus police refused to file a report after I reported the harassment. No one, not any of the college counselors helped me. Unknown people working for the college deleted my class grades from the college record system. I was unable to take the classes I needed and wanted to complete my degree. I had to drop out, without finishing my computer science degree.

"I know my little girl. She doesn't lie." Sir, I don't care if you never lied a day in your life, your child can lie and some do to get out of punishment. Based upon the character that Madds plays, you know he's innocent and that the little girl is an idiot. Why she said it was Madds's character I have no idea. Now for a real life situation, not a film, my argument is invalid.
