Oh man defo will look out for those tracks, love your run down here all killer stuff which you showcased most. There was a few pieces i got that stud out for me this year
Being, the Moog Dfam, and OB-6. There monsters in there own right. Other then that i tried the Korg Modwave instore (at a period where i was on a GAS hiatus) so i could not take it. But really got my eyes on it for next year, as a possible next buy.. i even considered selling my SQ80 just to move on with a modern Wavetable synth, but my wife wont let me sell it. I believe shes right. Wish you huge creations and an awesome new year Joey!

Can you please please please do a video on the Assimil8or. How you use it, show some tricks and tips. Show us how to load wave tables, maybe even yours. I could really use that right now. Since I just got mine. I haven't figured out how to do the wave table stuff yet unfortunately. Please make a video on this beast!

I feel the same about the Noise Engineering LIP, man. I use that thing in everything I record. Luckily, the sonic palette is so broad, that it can sound totally different from patch to patch (especially paired w/ an LPG or something). This is an awesome list, bro. Keep crushing it!

Roland MC707 for me has been incorporated with every setup I’ve had this year. The preset libraries give you so much to work with, and tweaking your own synth sound is easy. Almost endless effect combinations to use, and the sequencer is amazing and intuitive, especially for external gear. For example, I recently purchased a DRM MK3, and it takes half of one channel to midi sequence the whole thing. It’s been in every one of the tracks I’ve made, and the fact that it keeps getting updates has really made this a central unit in my setup.

For me it was Pittsburgh Modular VRL Blackbox, Intelligel Planar 2 (only bought in the last month but already a game changer), Morphagene, SSF Stereo Dipole, and Noise Engineering Mimetic Sequent.

Octatrack mki mainly, sequencing and processing different drum machines like machinedrumSps1, ADX1, R8, or RY30, and synths like Blofeld or Digitone. I also have two new acquisitions on 2021 that I am using lots, being the Neutron and the Typhon. It is always great listening to your recommendations and reviews. I learnt lots. not much music making this year, but the pulsar-23 is fun

Tried a lot of new pieces last year, some stayed and some went… but the keepers overall are Beads, Pro 2, A4 sequencing DFAM and Modbase (using like a single drum machine), Toraiz SP-16 (NOT used as a drum machine), JMT noise synths and Retro Mechanical Labs JnH and 432k.

This year, I've been moving towards a Maschine+ core setup. M+ runs Reaktor in standalone, so I jumped at the chance to have a hard device with an attached soft modular environment.  

I still have a lot of learning to do to get what I want out of it tho - and that's on me, I have to be better about putting the time in.

Mindphaser has been my fav. It's my first complex osc and while it isn't all sweet spots, when you work for it you get gold back. Kermit mk3 is also on my list. Would love to see/hear how you use it. Happy new year!

Have you ever had hands on the Westlicht Performer sequencer? It's pretty wild. Can be used in tandem with certain Novation Launchpads to open it up, but I don't have a Launchpad at the moment 💥
