I'm a happily married man, but I can share a bit of info on how it felt before getting a beautiful wife.

People can laugh all they want, but heightism is real. Think about it this way: A guy is good looking, smart, ambitious, creative and loves conducting a good life. BUT he's only 5'6. He watches his taller friends get girls, lots of women won't go past friendship with him, he is rejected by many girls simply because he is lacking height and society myths on top tells him it's ok for women to judge all short men as "not dateable". But damn him if he rejects an overweight woman or a woman he's not attracted to. cause if he's short.. he gotta settle for whatever he can get.

As a man being 5'7 living in a country full of 6' + men.. who do you think the girls choose? A lot of them even went as far as saying "men under 6'3 ain't men".

I'm average height (5'10) which some girls scoff at it and that's fine. But I absolutely have the right to refuse women who don't meet MY body requirements. i.e. not fat, nice ass etc.
