Ive always liked that Ho-oh and Lugia weren’t rivals or “two sides of the same coin” Just two legendaries that happen to inhabit the same region.

This theme fits Lugia really well. It has incredibly elegant bits to it like Lugia's design, but it's also terrifying in a way befitting of what is essentially the god of the tides.

Fun fact: Takeshi Shudō designed Lugia while under the extreme effects of alcohol and tranqulizers, this is not a bit, go search it up yourself.

This music sounds terrifying when you first hear it withou t playing the game, then when you do, you see your fighting just a swan thing.

Absolutely loved the original version of Silver as a kid. God knows how many hours I must have put into that game. I stopped playing after gen 3 with the launch of the Xbox 360. Now, at age 30, I’m currently on my first play through of soul silver out of nostalgia for my favourite gen. I’m absolutely blown away by this remake. To top it off, my encounter with Lugia was also my first ever shiny. The rush of excitement, paired with this awesome new theme was sublime. I can’t stop replaying this and reliving that moment. So many good memories, new and old.

I love Ho-Oh's battle theme but Lugia's sounds more menacing. It's like the song is telling you that you're nothing without your pokemon.

The only bad thing about this is that it didn't incorporate the Lugia's Song leitmotif from Pokémon The Movie 2000. Amazing song, though.

And Red will obviously win, his highest and lowest level PKMN are 80 and 88 Pikachu and Lance's PKMN lowest i think is 73 and highest is 75 Dragonite.
