I can see how Stroll sort of was just at the wrong place of a chain reaction, but it's more so his response and refusal to take responsibility that really makes him look bad.

"I guess I was the guy who hit the guy in front of my car that I got a penalty?"
Yes Lance that's usually how it works

He had more room than everyone else and he was the only one to crash.

I mean Daniel crashed into Alex in Japan but he owned up to it. I'm sure everyone would have been okay with it had Lance just admit his mistake.

The problem is, Lance HAD enough distance to adjust, but he wasn’t paying attention to his front car. If he was just very close to Daniel at the first place and couldn’t avoid the sudden breaking no matter what, it is absolutely normal incident, sadly that’s not the case.

Interestingly, Lance Stroll onboardcamera confirms that he was not looking ahead until the moment of impact.

Ricciardo getting the Grid drop penalty in Miami for taking the place back from Hulk later on is just the most cruel thing.

Alonso almost did the same thing but got his eyes on the road again in time. Stroll clearly didn't have his eyes on the road, because his instant reaction was to say that Ricc "slammed on his brakes for no reason" when he should have seen the massive cloud of smoke from Alonso's car and already been on the brakes himself...

Another thing to note with Stroll is that between the 200m and 150m boards, there is no rev lights on the dash in 3rd. At about 125m he accelerates, changes to 4th, 45m drops back to 3rd then stops using engine braking (to 2nd) and sends DR to the moon.

Nothing better than RPMF1 analysis of Stroll's performance

Stroll never recognizes (much less admits) his errors. Thus, he never learns from them... & repeats. What's the point of the Super License if that type of driver is repeatedly given a pass?

The only thing I fell you've missed is the brake check by Sainz on Alonso- go ahead and replay how the gap widely opens between Sainz and the car in front of him on corner entry as Sainz hits the brakes unnecessarily before accelerating through the corner. This ultimately led to Alonso's actions and all that comes thereafter.

I love Palmer's analysis, they always fell unbiased and fair. Palmer should be a F1 Steward :D

Where is the telemetry to show the reaction times of each driver to see if any one driver reacted to slower than another?

Fernando gets 3 penalty points for racing hard against Saiz, but Stroll gets only 2 penalty points for being a complete idiot and crashing into the back Ricciardo. What is the logic behind that? Unbelievable decision making.

Just like ricciardo and albon in japan 2 weeks ago off the start, but the irony then was that ricciardo was looking at Stroll so he ran into albon. He was already scared of stroll...

Technically, Hulkenberg should not have been allowed to go through. Stroll and Ric may have been “crashing” but neither left the track over the white lines and Ric is within 5 car lengths of the McLaren infront at the moment Hulk goes down the inside. So Ric hasn’t slowed considerably which is one of the rules that permits cars behind overtaking under SC. So if Ric choose to take that wide slower line voluntarily (and there was no contact with Stroll) the drivers behind would have to stay behind. So why does Hulk get to overtake? Just because two cars touch? That makes little sense. Yes Hulk is avoiding a crash - and safety first is key - but really Daniel should have been allowed to take the position back, and the race director should have communicated this to RB Cash App. I’m yet to hear anyone refute this line of argument.
