Roborock S7 vs. Roborock S6 MaxV Mopping Test: Does the New Vibrating Mop Perform Better?

A quick mopping test between the Roborock S6 MaxV and the newest S7. Both have the same 300 ml water tank but the Roborock S7 lifts the mopping pad on carpets as well as vibrates for better mopping results.

It might not look like a big difference but the Roborock S7 removed more after the first pass and overall did better than the S6 MaxV in this mopping test.

it wont help either, you dont need vibrations :) just spray some floor cleaner on mop before installing and g2g :) cleans shiny :)

Hm also ich denke das der S7 von der Wischqualität nicht an einen SWDK 300 oder einen Legee 668 rankommen wird, aber er wischt besser als ein S6 Max.

How will the self-emptying base on the s7 work? Will it suck through the brush roll? Are there any separate extractor ports? Is there a dirt bin sensor? When will the Auto-Empty dock be released?

The new rubber brush from the s7 may fit in older models like s5max and s6maxv. have you tried this If you tried what is the result?

S6 Max equipped with front cameras but they're removed for S7? Not completely sure what the logic behind this, but if they are thinking to have S7, then S7 Pure, then S7 Max to finally get everything equipped then you might as well get a Deebot T8 Aivi+

Do you pre-wet the mop pads? My S5 Max doesn't have a wide wet trail. It's just two narrow 2inch streaks of wetness where the water would dispense onto the mop.

Did you wet the mop bevore you start the Test? Becouse, if you additionaly wet the mop, the end result will be much better
