Do you know that you don't have to stop and restart de simulator to do all that? If you have DevMode enabled, you can just reload the aircraft from the menu and it works! Much much faster!

If you’re playing on Xbox with the default a320 or 747, this is still possible. (Haven’t tried any other planes, but may work as well). To get your camera outside of the cockpit, move all the way to the right window of the plane and go into the camera panel. Under the “pilot” drop-down menu, click copilot. This should bump the camera outside of the cockpit. Save the camera right where it is then reset your camera position, and then load your new saved camera. From there you should be able to move all around the plane and set up cool camera views.

How do you all look around in the cockpit? I only have the forward, default view. Looking right, my "head" swivels to the 90 degree point, and then back to default. I can't look at a 45 degree angle and just keep looking that way, like in the old sim, where truly free head movement was easy. Everyone is talking about setting up snappy views, but nobody ever says how he was able to look at that spot in the first place. I am pretty sure I am playing the same game as everyone else. Maybe I missed something.

2 questions, is there a way to set up custom external views on the XBox, seeing as we can't acess the cfg files? And when you set up the cockpit view at the end does that take up one of the slots that you could use for external views, or is there another 10 views available in the cockpit too?
