just a silly question. in UK we pay 38.80p KW . I set it up at the cost of 38.80 and after 1h was about 4£ which is too expensive ... do I need to set like 00.38 on display? thanks

I bought a ENER007 many years ago and as the manual was poor I never could use it and wanted to return it but busy life didn’t let me.
Now I found it lying around so thought to give it a try and man I got confused again. I need to know how to find out the Overload Power of a device but apparently the company has no interest on replying at all here!
Also why there is such setting? What happens if power goes beyond that? There are no explanations on the manual whatsoever!

Not having a back light is pretty poor. I have to use a torch to read mine.

I agree with others that it is hard to know if it is set up correctly and very difficult to read, as when positioned behind bits of furniture (in the wall socket) you need a torch and mirrors to even see the screen. When you can see the screen, the numbers make very little sense. It tells me I'm using more energy with one appliance than my smart meter tells me the entire house uses? I borrowed this unit and definitely won't buy one.

When I input the price per kwh, is it in pence or pounds and pence?? So if it's 31.44p per kwh do I input "31.44" or "00.31"? If it's the latter there aren't enough digits

Instructions are poor, I'm not 100% sure I have mine set up properly, we need a proper walk through, As mentioned before, bot having a backlight makes it difficult to read, I need to lie on the floor to read mine properly
