Android Studio Tutorial (2021 Edition) - Part 2

Layouts in Android apps are created using XML and in this tutorial we'll add a Button, Email field and Password field to allow the user to sign in. ConstraintLayout offers engineers a convenient way to create UI that is flexible and will scale according to the device the app is running on.

And as always Android Studio includes everything we need to create beautiful screens so let's begin and start designing our Android app!

Really great tutorial, I honestly prefer writing the XNL though. The whole drag and drop aspect is nice when dragging in elements, but it's a lot easier editing the elements via XML compared to the whole design view part

Hello, thanks for the explanation it is very clear, but when dragging the button to layout it appears at the top left corner I can not put it anywhere in the layout, and also can not resize it by its corner, please help. I use the latest version of android studio 2020.3.1 patch 2
