I’m suffering from hip pain for the past one year.steroid injection, pain killers, creams even physiotherapy not working. I stopped crossing my legs and I’m having some relief not a complete cure but definitely some 30 to 40% relief which is definitely feeling like a blessing.

Dear Cat, I am so glad I found you! You're such a pro! Your channel is so helpful!

I have pain in one hip, which comes from a tendinopathy on the origin of the tensor fasciae latae, on the greater trochanter. Physicians can make a diagnosis and give a therapy but are not helpful in addressing the origin of the problem. Just by stopping crossing my legs the pain has started decreasing. Thank you so much!

Do you mind if I make you a special request on how to effectively release the tensor fasciae latae with self myofascial release? I am using a massage stick longitudinally on the muscle fibers but I don't like it much. I have started using a soft tennis ball to massage the muscle transversely leaning against a wall. Any other suggestion from you would be so appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Also, am i understanding correctly that you're saying that crossing legs usually causes adductors to be overly tight and abductors to be too stretched? So does that means stretching the adductors and strengthening the abductors could be helpful?

That is how women cross their legs. Do you have a video for how to deal with the problems caused by how men cross their legs, ie: figure 4?

Could crossing your legs be the cause for pelvic pain?
