Confirmation

A video on the fourth sacrament of the Catholic Church. Through this video, young adults offer advice to youth preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Yet not only does this video help the Confirmandi, it also encourages Catholic adults in their faith.

I was baptized and had 1st communion and confirmation in RCIA as an adult. It was so beautiful! I love being Catholic but sometimes I don't know how to say things or do things like a Catholic. I was raised Protestant but had nothing for many parts of my life. So I hope to become more comfortable as a Catholic in the future.😀🔥💗👰

I disagree with Chente25's assertion that it's a "bit off" theologically. Referring to what happens following Confirmation, the young man said "I take control over educating myself in my faith". That's true in that that most Catholic religious education programs end with Confirmation; there are no more school age classes available in most parishes. The young confirmed are now completely responsible for their religious education, whereas prior the Church and parents compelled the education.

In the age of the internet you can look up answers and perspectives on just about everything. So when holy books, churches and religion spoon feed you dogma you can find every argument and contradiction to it. In the playing field of ideas religion isn't fairing too well.
