Their males are urged from birth to emulate Revali, the Rito Champion from a century prior. While Rito can fly forward, they cannot ascend on their own and rely on the wind to lift them upwards."

I love Rito Village and this theme song. I'm from Finland and Rito village reminds me of my home country (and Nordic countries in general). Snowy landscape, pine trees, salmon soup, swimming in a pond that's covered in pine needles, wise old guy who likes to play accordion and tell stories (Kass :D), etc. Also Rito folks who just want to exist peacefully in harsh weathers in the periferia of Hyrule. Rito village makes me feel like home and the theme song is so calming. As i write this i see pine trees covered in snow outside of my window, everything outside is covered in glittering frost as it's winter here now... so lovely.

fun fact also, Kaneli means cinnamon in Finnish :)

I like to listen to this and imagine I’m staying the night at rito village. I’m sleeping in a traditional Rito hammock bed lined with the softest down and wrapped in a bundle of warm blankets. The villagers hosting me had to shutter the home from the storm, so there’s a nice, soft puttering of rain coming from the tarp they’ve stretched between the rafters to keep us dry. The central campfire provides calm, flickering light and subtle warmth, just enough that I can stay in my little nest without getting too warm. The neighbors pluck at their instruments and hum a little tune. I let the lullaby rock me into a gentle, undisturbed sleep.

Definitely one of my favorite happy places, especially if it’s cold or rainy out. Thank you for the peace you’ve facilitated here. 🫶
