The Allagash Wilderness Waterway: A Presentation by Tim Caverly

Protecting the Allagash River in northern Maine was NRCM's founding issue. And 50 years after the river was designated as a National Wild & Scenic River, our staff had the privilege to hear from former Allagash Waterway superintendent Tim Caverly.

In this presentation, Tim, in his own style, weaves together the story of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway and its management challenges with his experience of actually traveling the Waterway, including sights and sounds.
