Hi Nathan, or anyone else in this comment section may you kindly help me.

I have about 7 inch 4c hair and I want to try curls (looser coils).

I have curling custard or whatever, spiking gel and hairspray, I got them randomly.. so now for the real question:

Must I blowout my hair first, then apply the curling cream, then gel, then hairspray(holding spray variation)?

Or can I leave out the gel and just do the hairspray and coat my hair with oil after so it’s not cronchyyy?

Note: I’ve tried without blowing my hair out, and it made absolutely no difference, hence the blowout! 🫦
