Holy cow. This scene is poetic. Venom revealed Eddie Brock's face when he started talking about Sandman's daughter, making Venom appear more human, empathetic, and friendly to win Sandman over. Then, when Venom asked if Sandman was interested in teaming up to kill Spiderman, he revealed the twisted, horrific face, appearing much more menacing and threatening, which would help convince Sandman that Spiderman really wouldn't have a chance.
