VK Pandian, who is a close aide of Naveen Patnaik, was widely blamed by BJD leaders and workers for the party's poor showing in the Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly elections. Pandian announced decision to quit active politics on Sunday.

Navin Pattnaik is a cleave lizard.He never did direct politics, he only wanted his clean image and to handle all these he always hired IAS as his dummy.When everything goes right he takes credit but when something goes wrong the allegations are for that hired one.This Pattnaik family is another version of Gandhis without founding the party they claim it for their family.They know nothing about our culture, can't even speak own native language coz they have no interest but when half of their life is spent they come here to rule.If someone knows Bijupattnaik he/she will know his childrens are completely opposite and odisha ppl are still blind to understand this, their brand is bcoz of the great Biju Babu.Their own cousins are staying in their paternal property in Cuttack where Navin and his siblings also spent their childhood have never visited them after becoming CM of odisha.Points to be noted both their siblings are in their old-age stage having several health and financial issues, they openly requested Navin to help them as a CM not even as their cousins but still Navin remained silent.Not even that Navin made that house partitioned with high walls and made it a museum.

Your problem was you were going beyond your limit while working for Nabin Pattnaik or working with him keeping him focussed as you said. The way you targetted Baijayant Panda, Pradip Panigrahi, Soumya Ranjan Pattnaik was never seen even while Nabin Pattnaik took action against some of other rebels of the party in the past. Spending too much on helicaptor ride, projecting yourself as the digital twin (if not successor) of Nabin Patnaik back fired, why did Nabin Patnaik not took that much of pain being the CM. If he has aged & can't do, he should have told so to the public. Why he was sending his recorded message "mu Pandian babu nku patheichi". However don't get upset or disheartened, you are not singly (but responsible 20%) responsible for BJD's loss, BJD was bound to loose because of Nabin Pattnaik & his helpless team of MLAs and ministers. Take a rest for couple of months, introspect yourself what you were advising your subordinates while you were in the service and did you follow that and come back to active politics. You will definitely give a good fight.
