The 2.20:1 aspect ratio was a good choice since it gives you more screen real estate than the the usual 2.39 AR and makes the transitions to the 1.78:1 scenes even more seamless.

Saw it in digital IMAX and the black and white sequences were stunning - so glad this has translated over to 4K. Also, it's a really colourful film for such dark subject matter, so I'm really looking forward to picking this up and watching again.

Absolutely love your videos. I was really lucky to get to see the IMAX 70mm a few times, and also see a 70mm print. I was going to get the steelbook because pre-orders for the Walmart Icon Edition were sold out, but some just came back in stock this morning so I've grabbed one of those. Looking forward to seeing the IMAX sequences on the 4K disc.

Got the steelbook yesterday. Cannot believe I managed to snag one from Best Buy. It sold out online within minutes after going up for pre-order. Really wish I had more Nolan pics in steelbook format.

I saw this in real 70mm IMAX twice, and was floored. This finally got me to buy a 4k player! I didn’t realize it was out, so I got a copy on eBay that wasn’t too expensive.

I saw the 70mm here in Canada. It was such a treat. Definitely looking forward to getting the Steelbook. They're just so hard to find :(

I will be picking this up ASAP. I saw the movie in the theater, but despite a great sound system I had difficulty hearing the dialog. Your comments on sound is promising, plus of course there will be captions. This is a movie you must be able to comprehend what the characters are saying.

The steelbook was basically impossible to get here in the US. It was a bestbuy exclusive. It sold out instantly online and was never restocked. I was able to get the walmart Icon edition 4k exclusive. It's a beautiful digibook that has a magnetic closure and has a slipcover. I'm very happy with it.

I bought a Samsung Q990C in anticipation of this release, and while testing it with other dolby atmos movies, such as Rogue One and Dunkirk I was quite underwhelmed, to the point where I thought it was the soundbar's fault. This blu ray restored my faith in it completely, and I never put the volume over 12 (out of 100). It is not hyperbole to say that I am geniunely scared of what would happen to the windows should I decide to go higher than 20.
