#5 High Force: Set in northern Britain, High Force is one of the most accurately re-created free roam maps available to download. Whilst smaller than some of the other offerings in the video, it has a vibrant community behind it.

#4 Arrabassada: A busy road between Barcelona City and Sant Cugat del Vallés City.

#3 Union Island: One of 32 islands of St Vincent & the Grenadines in the Caribbean Sea. The island has a population of around 3000 inhabitants and the summit reaches 999 ft (304m).


#2 Santa Monica Mountains: Often hailed as the best free-roam maps available for Assetto Corsa, Santa Monica Mountains has some of the most varied canyon roads and mountain trails. Make sure you have enough space for the map though… The compressed size is 2.3 GB on its own.

Just fun fact. I actually studied in the school that apears at the first section of the Arrabassada map. As someone who knows the real place very well, I can say that the map is really accurate. Even the gas station.

I live near High Force and I've driven those roads IRL, the detail is incredible and still my go to for a night drive in light rain. You say it doesn't have traffic but the one I downloaded does, it's not perfect like they sometimes get stuck in very tight parts but 90% of the map is great for realistic overtakes on the back roads. I can't remember where I got it but I didn't have to go hunting for a special AI version, it was just like a a standard release available to everyone. Just go in track day and add cars to opponents.
