In this video I have a look at a customers 2017 GMC Canyon with the big 3.6. It had a customer complaint of ABS light on. I looked at it for them and determined the magnet on the bearing was M.I.A. and I also suggested replacing the front hose due to rust.

Eric's quote of the month..."we just use it, because it upsets people"
Love it 😉

Maybe all the couch mechanics can teach a veteran something one day😂😂. I hit "like" as soon as you dropped the caliper, mic drop. Thanks for the awesome content Mr.O.

96ft-lbs on those lil bolts is crazy. Almost as crazy as 220 on the caliper bolts! Holy schmoly!

We all remember the Big Nasty Gets Defeated video classic. Your comments were priceless. That WD 40 ranks up there with the invention of electricity generation and the integrated circuit.

Like the ABS clip, every time you struggle with something and it comes off, I say "Yes Sir !!".
I even do it in your voice. So don't worry if you forget to say it once in a while, I got you covered !!" 🤣

Nothing like a hot cup of coffee and an SMA wheel bearing job to start a day right. Thanks as always, Eric!

WD-40 doesn't displace water. I spray my fishing lures with it, and the lures still get wet.

Iron oxide makes the best locktite right up there with crossed threads.

Always love the armchair mechanics, they sit at home watching videos and profess all knowledge.

Watching this, Eric, reminds me of the days I ran a part time garage (after hours, man alone) with no formal training. Your work ethic is so much like mine was then. My motto was to make it easy for the next guy to undo something that may be rust welded in place. A fair amount of rust here in Cape Town. Also, do the right thing right the first time. 20 years of that and not one comeback...

Your occasional sarcastic comments always give me a chuckle.

I'm glad you torqued that last bolt to 96 ft/lbs. Now we can be friends again.

Just had a flashback of when I worked at a Chrysler dealership in the 1980s. I worked parts for the shop and a seasoned mechanic asked me to help bleed the brakes on a New Yorker. Customer had shop privilege and was watching like a hawk. Mechanic told him to move back so he wouldn't get sprayed by the fluid but he insisted on staying put. The mechanic just shook his head and told me pump on the pedal "hard". Customer got the ultimate Dot 3 brake fluid golden shower. Thanks for the memory trigger Eric.
