Accuphase C-2300. We review Accuphase's latest pre-amp.

Hi Everyone!
Today we're taking a look at the new C-2300 pre-amplifier from Accuphase.
The Precision Stereo Control Centre C-2300 as it's known, inherits technology from the C-2150 and C-2450, and also brings more control over tone, as well as a further reduction in noise levels.
We also share some thoughts on the pre/power amplifier pairing versus integrated amplifiers.

I have the C2300 on loan and it’s a huge step up from the C2150 I currently own. The improvement is noticeable in every area.

Another well thought out review. I'm currently in the process of trading up my McIntosh MA12000 integrated amplifier with the Accuphase A-48S and C2300. I was initially going with the Accuphase e-800s integrated but thought that since my current McIntosh MA12000 integrated is a great component, maybe it would be wise to step things up with components instead. So I hope the C2300 with the A48S will be a significant improvement and not just a subtle improvement. Can anyone chime in?

Wat really bugs me is the fact that you actually never know which one to buy!! Should I get the C-2300 or a used and much cheaper 2150/2450...or buy an older C-3800 which was the TOTL like 15 years ago.

Would you oair it with A80? or is it too weak for A80? C2900 is unfortunately too expensive…
