Excuse me Miss Erica did you read my diary & then address it in this song? 😅 cos the relatability is crazyyy! In 2021 after another attempt on my life, I refused to stay in the ER under another 5150 and I ran out the hospital just like this, barefoot, except I was in a hospital gown, . I had no plan or destination I just ran. The security
guards saw me, wrestled me to the floor, I used the strength of my entire body to break free but I couldn’t & i remember just crying to them in despair “let me go I want to be free” on the wet grass. I was the most broken of ever been, I was embarrassed but most of all fearful & desperate. As an Empath who’s suffered long term narcissistic abuse, I’m usually in “freeze” or “fawn”. Im not a fighter or a flighter but that moment was the first, I couldn’t believe my own actions, as if I was watching a movie of myself, it was one the most surreal moments of my mental health journey. I lost my faith in God. Fast forward God delivered me from suicidal ideation in April 2023 via a revelation that broke a thought pattern that kept me bound & suicidal for years. It was a miracle. The Lord loves us & he is faithful. Even when you doubt him he’s faithful 😮‍💨 All those who are broken-hearted He says He’s close to us. This is truly for all the anxiously attached, people pleasers with abandonment issues ❤

This song has been amazing for me. It's lifted me up time after time and reminded me of who I am and where I'm going! I can't tell you the nights, and afternoons, mornings, anytime! That I have just played this over and over till the anger and depression turned to motivation and solutions. You have truly been a key player in me not only surviving this period in my life, but having a joyful outlook for the other side of it.
