Watched mask the other night and can't get this song out of my head. Rocky would've been my age. Great movie, great cast. Of course they couldn't have picked a better song. Always loved Bruce....magic with the lyrics, piano, and the sax definitely! ❤

I listened in 1975 when Born to Run was released it made The cover of Time magazine it was a 5 star 🌟 album then 3 years later this brilliant album was released I listened and sang the songs Badlands, Prove it All Night and the Promised Land were my favourites I've said it before Bruce Springsteen is the American Hero from Freehold New Jersey.

Anyone who doesn't take the time to sit and listen to these songs over and over while reading the lyrics just can not understand how great the Boss really is. Hell, without the music his work would classify as great modern poetry imho.

I used to deliver pizzas after college wondering what I would do with my life and would pound on the steering wheel singing this song as I hunted for an address. That was almost 40 years ago. I'm almost 70 now and I still don't understand and the cross fire just keep coming.
