Cover #1 - it's the most heroic. Great job featuring June Brigman! I have her Cloak & Dagger, She-Hulk, Meridian and some others. It's too bad that she is very underexposed for the large amount of work she has done (and still does) in the industry, not even counting the comic strips. For her latest output, people should check out the Captain Ginger series on Ahoy Comics, about a cat who is an astronaut.

I would say the 3rd one, I like pictures that can convey strong emotional intensity.

I personally prefer Issue #2's cover myself. While #3's cover does hint at what's going on in the book, #2 with all those "pod" Supergirls is more intriguing to me. I want to know the story behind those pods. #2 does what a cover is supposed to do, sell the book and intrigue the reader by giving a hint (hopefully) of what's going on in the story itself. #1's cover is more of a "poster" cover. #1 is good, but it doesn't have any hints of what's going on in the book and technically is a "fail" for selling the book based on the cover alone.

this is a really tough one!!

All three are great covers. #2 and #3 in particular have that element of, "Don't you want to read this to find out what this story is all about?", the former with the allure of "What the heck is going on here?" and the later with the mysterious threat looming behind our hero.

Normally, that would trump (for me) the solid composition of #1, as that seems to be referencing nothing of the story at all, but not today. I think I'd pick differently most other days, but there's something I'm finding particularly appealing about #1 right now, which is that it's very strongly giving me the vibe of "This is about an Aspirational Hero". I find myself hungry for that sort of thing, very tired of all the "dark and gritty" takes and all the nihilism I see everywhere. DC heroes have always been squarely rooted in that Aspirational Hero archetype, far more so than any other superhero universe, and this cover is telling me quite plainly that this is a book about the hero who laid down her life in Crisis on Infinite Earths, and not one of these twisted imitations I've seen far too many of in the past 30 years.

So, #1 for me, even if I'd probably go with #3 more generally.

Hey Captain reporting for VIEWING once again, , I know that all of these are from the same artist, that being said, , , the first one of her over the city looks more epic, more costume-correct ( slots for the belt and the skirt is more pleated ), and basically more art correct, , ,
